Update The Blog!

I really need to update this thing - - but alot has been going on. Eric's grandmother passed and she will be greatly missed. Rheabel's health was declining so Eric and I decided to share with her the names of the babies, knowing she wouldn't get the chance to meet them. She never told anyone!

Tomorrow, I am 24 weeks!! yay!! The past two weeks alot has happened in twin turtle baby land. To start, my parents, sis, and Gran came in for my baby shower. (yes, I'll upload pics soon)! Leah hosted a WONDERFUL baby shower, it was a lot of fun! While in town, my dad painted the nursery. It started out as Benjamin Moore's Sweet Innocence, but once I got that on the wall it was too light frosty blue. I wanted more of a gray color. So, they had to darken the paint, so now it remains nameless. But nonetheless, it looks awesome, a perfect color gray! Eric and my dad installed a beautiful white ceiling fan in there as well. My mom and I went shopping for curtains. They are ivory, silk, linen - - I really like them. Eric said he'd get the curtain rod up this weekend so we can begin to hang those up. What else??? Well of course the shower brought AMAZING gifts from my wonderful family and friends. From clothing, bath tubs, toys, bibs, bottles, boppy pillows, big stuffed animals and more! We really feel lucky! Last, our latest DRs appt. My parents were in town and joined Eric & I at DUKE for our 2D ultrasound we get every 4weeks. The babies are doing great and progressing right on target. Little girl was head down and weighs 1.4 lbs. She is who I feel the most as she is on my right side. Lots of kicking and movement. Little boy was in the most amazing position, his feet above his head. Essentially, he was "breech", but looked like he was teaching a yoga class. It was silly. He weighs 1.3 lbs. So they are exactly the same weight! When we went to our normal ob appt 3 days later, he had come out of this circus pose and was head down. I will scan in ultrasound photos this weekend, along with photos of the shower. We also learned that if I don't go into labor before 38 weeks, they will induce. So, Eric & I have officially changed our due date! 38 weeks would be May 30th, so unless they come real early, we are expecting May babies!
