Once we start we can't be stopped
Our team is red hot!!!
Check out our outfits! PS.... Dean is really starting to break away from Carson in terms of weight gain. I was SO curious today (WED) that I took them to a friend's house to weigh them. Dean is 9lbs and Carson is 8.1bs - - he's a whole pound heavier!!!
"Due Date Day" DATE
If you can believe it - - my official due date was June 13th, this past Saturday. The babies were 10 weeks old!! Eric & I decided we needed to mark the occassion. First, we looked at the babies all day and kept saying, "there is NO way we could imagine them still in the belly"! Mind blowing! Second, Eric & I ditched the babies for a night out! J/K! My mom and Whitney graciously offered to babysit so we had our first, official date. It was so nice to put on a little makeup and go out for a nice glass of wine. We had a great time.
Nonna and Aunt Nut in the house - - -
The babies have visitors - - Nonna & Aunt Whitney. For me, this means, I've been able to take showers longer than 30 seconds and earlier than 7pm at night when Eric gets home. My mom has cooked and done the laundry. Whitney has been a natural helping me with all the feedings and changing diapers. Carson & Dean are having a blast!

- Please note Carson's socks and hair bow. A girl can never have enough accessories!

- What a handful!

Picture Pages

For all the curious people who've asked me 100 hundred times -- HOW DO YOU FEED TWO AT THE SAME TIME??? I am no longer nursing. Having preemies it is so important to know exactly how much they are getting at each feeding to ensure weight gain. So, this is how we bottle feed each and every day when Daddy is at work! Works like a charm.

Daddy & Carson watching TV (either golf or some ridiculous reality show, like Gene Simmons Family jewels or Girls Next Door, I'm sure)

Carson on her first night out to dinner - - she had onion rings.

Dean on his first night out to dinner - - he had nachos. (Their adorable burp cloths are from the Ead's -- so cute)!

Carson & Dean in their new chairs (courtesy of the Rousso's - - we LOVE them).
** You know you are a new parent when you find yourself "propping" the babies up on anything around the house for a cute picture!
Check-up
The babies are 8 1/2 weeks and had their 2 month check up today.
DRUM ROLL PLEASE . . . . . .
Dean weighs 7lbs 4oz and is 20 inches long
Carson weighs 7lbs and is 18 inches long
Dean has taken the lead (he also has the first case of baby acne, bless his heart)!
They are doing great and everything is right on track. Pretty much for the first 2 years of their lives they will need to go by their due date (JUNE 13th - - we're still not there yet -- ha!) for considerable milestones (walking, talking, crawling etc). However, for vaccines, you go by actual birth date. Today they received their 2 month vaccines. It is heart wrenching to watch your children scream when getting a shot. I hated it for them. We are now home and they are worn out and sleeping peacefully (hence my time on the computer). As we all know, vaccines have become increasingly controversial. My take, all you can do it trust the system, and close your eyes! They need to be vaccinated.
