LOOK - - a 19.5 week pregnant snow-woman!

Today was a snow day - - in RALEIGH! It was awesome and reminded me of being home in the northeast. Meurice and Eric really enjoyed it as well. We decided the capture the "belly" picture outside so we can say that twins have already experienced snow!

Here I am. Those babies are getting bigger!

Meurice post snow. He loved it and was worn out!

Nursery Bedding

Here is a picture of the nursery bedding. I know its not the clearest, we'll take better pictures once we get the nursery together. Also, our nursery furniture is espresso colored, so the bedding will "POP" more and stand out, compared with the white crib here in the picture. (In my opinion)! Our little mister will keep the blue sheets and we will purchase separate pink sheets for the missy. We wanted to go with something classy, whimisical, and gender neutral and thought this was perfect.

18 weeks - - ITS A BOY, ITS A GIRL!

(click on photos to see them bigger)
BABY GIRL (profile on left, anatomy on right)

BABY BOY

THINK PINK . . . . & BLUE!

IT'S A BABY GIRL & BABY BOY!!
8:00 am today we had our 3D anatomy scan. It took around 45 min- 1 hour for each baby. They look at the brain, heart, stomach, kidneys, bladder, arms, hands, legs, feet, and of course - - their little private areas! Baby A is a baby girl! She was calm and enjoyed moving her right hand up to her head to scratch it! They zoomed in on their faces, which is just nuts! Its incredible how at 18 weeks they are so advanced in their features and movement. On to Baby B - - he had to be a boy because he was WILD! He was all limbs, all of the time. He would even reach over to his sister and swat at her - - pretty interesting to see them interact with each other. The second the nurse found him he had his hand up and it looked like he was waving at us. It was funny. Of course, right when she moved south of the bladder, I immediatley noticed he was in fact, a HE! In addition to finding out their sexes, we learned that all is good, normal, and healthy! They are growing right on track and every single organ is as it should be. We have some great photos that we will scan and upload later this evening.

The 2008 Holiday Wrap Up

The holidays were great! Check out our extensive pictures below. While in Austin we spent time with my family, Eric enjoyed many golf sessions and new clubs with my dad (T Pop) and I hung with my sister and mom (grandma name still undecided)! We enjoyed seeing everyone and missed the several family members who didn't join us this year. With our 2 year anniversary approaching next week Eric & I visited The Driskill, where we were married, and had a delicious brunch and walked around reminiscing! Thank you everyone for your great Christmas gifts! Until next year . . .

The turtle belly in front of the Christmas tree - exactly 16 weeks. (I am 17 weeks along now and already look bigger than this)!
Aunt Nut got us some t-shirts. Mine is a pea-pod with two little babies in it and Eric's say Daddy to be x 2. So cute! (the t-shirts, not us, this is well past my bedtime). She also got us Coldplay and U2 baby CDs. Who knew?!
Eric bought me (us) the diaper bag that I had my eye on!

Twin baby dolls from Gran - - scary!!
